Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for responding to incoming phone calls from our clients, addressing their concerns, and providing personalized support and solutions. This is a remote work opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home and enjoy a better work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Respond to incoming phone calls from clients regarding profit qualification concerns, prescription status queries, and other related issues Provide manual and automated instructions to callers on their prescribed benefits, use planning, formulary, premiums, and state of purchases and claims or inquiries Listen attentively to client concerns, document required information in computer systems, and identify issues and communicate solutions and actions to clients, pharmacies, and doctors Make outbound calls to customers on prescription purchases and payment concerns Research complex issues related to member prescription and/or pharmacy benefits across multiple databases, requiring fluency in computer navigation and toggling What We Offer At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and challenging work environment that fosters growth and development. As a Customer Service Specialist, you can expect: A competitive compensation package and recognition for your performance Clear guidance on what it takes to be successful in your role and opportunities for growth and advancement A dynamic and collaborative team environment that values innovation, creativity, and compassion Flexible scheduling and remote work arrangements that allow you to balance your work and personal life Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: High School Diploma/GED (or higher) or equivalent work experience 1+ years of customer service experience, including delivering service over the phone Familiarity with computer and Windows computer functions, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system functions Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word (ability to open and navigate a word document) and Microsoft Excel (ability to open and navigate a spreadsheet) Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our standard business hours of Sunday - Saturday 5:00 am - 11:00 pm true time in Pacific Standard Time or Mountain Standard Time, depending on location Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Call Center experience Customer support experience Experience with Adult Learning in a virtual setting Familiarity with Digital systems and tools, including Web, Chat, and email Health Care/Insurance setting (understanding of medical terminology, health insurance plan documents, or benefit plan design) Community service, personality health, disease prevention, health promotion, and behavior change (working with vulnerable populations) Telecommuting Requirements To work remotely as a Customer Service Specialist, you will need: A dedicated workspace that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy Ability to keep all business-sensitive records secure (if applicable) Residence in an area that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or utilize an existing high-speed internet service Ability to connect directly to the internet via a hard wire (either directly to a cable box or modem) Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
