As a Pharmacy Service Representative, you'll provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. You'll be responsible for the overall coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders, which includes verifying and revivifying benefits. You'll also help our patients with translating and entering in new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, communicating and collecting copay amounts, obtaining authorizations, and working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and/or internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders that have accounts receivable or clinical issues. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy * Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits * Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system * Communicate and collect copay amounts from patients * Obtain authorizations from insurance companies and healthcare providers * Work with internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues * Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and customers **Requirements** * One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications * One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude * Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Qualifications** * Preceding healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology * Experience working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrating compassionate, genuine care for patients and customers **Training and Development** * 4 weeks of training, with a PTO blackout period * Training schedules: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST * Post-training schedule: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM PST **Compensation and Benefits** * The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.45 per hour * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits * 401(k) retirement savings plan and Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Fully-paid term life insurance plan and short-term and long-term disability benefits * Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays throughout the calendar year * Education assistance, free development courses, CVS store discount, and discount programs with participating partners **How to Apply** If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and making a difference in people's lives, we want to hear from you!
