As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling incoming phone calls, researching customer information, and resolving customer issues. You'll also be accountable for staying current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommending items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability. **Key Responsibilities** * Interfaces with customers via telephone, written correspondence, fax, web, and/or electronic mail * Researches customer information utilizing appropriate systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and other reference materials to effectively respond to and resolve customer issues * Elevates sensitive customer requests when necessary * Complies with State and Federal regulations and mandates, which are continually changing * Accountable to remain current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommends items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability * Participates in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on policies, procedures, and products **Requirements** * High School Diploma or Equivalent and three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred) * Availability for training 9-12 weeks in length * Reliable internet service provider and a dedicated, distraction-free workplace * Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation is a plus **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in a health insurance or related field * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office **What We Offer** * Competitive salary: $39,520 annually, plus a benefits package (Health Benefits effective 1st of the month following start date) * Full-time status (40 hours per week) * 9-12 weeks of live virtual training: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Central Time Zone), Monday to Friday * Work schedule: After training, must be able to work any 8.5 hour shift between 7:30am-6:00pm (Central Time Zone), Monday to Friday * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **Work Environment and Culture** At arenaflex, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion.
