Key Responsibilities Connect directly with clients via phone, email, or chat to address various inquiries, concerns, and issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Analyze and troubleshoot problems to determine suitable answers for clients, thinking proactively and setting follow-up meetings as needed to ensure issue resolution. Work with empathy, using active listening, patience, and understanding to provide exceptional support to clients and colleagues alike. Collaborate with partners, your immediate supervisor, and other team members across multiple levels of the organization using virtual collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to a customer-driven culture of teamwork. Engage in continuous learning, sharing feedback, and receiving input to grow and develop in your role. Essential Qualifications 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment. Demonstrated excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) in a composed evaluation. Ability to multitask (e.g., maintain a conversation on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes) and perform well in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using computers, including data entry, navigating systems, and searching the web to find information to support clients. Ability to adapt to change with the business needs of the organization. Flexibility to adjust schedule and work beyond 40 hours as needed, depending on the requirements of the specialty unit. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to pass a background investigation. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as customer service, communications, or business administration. Experience working in a pet-related industry or with animals. Knowledge of customer service software and technology, including CRM systems and helpdesk tools. Certifications in customer service, such as CCSP or CSS. Technical Requirements A dedicated workspace that is quiet, private, and free from distractions, with a reliable computer and internet connection. A webcam and headset for video conferencing and phone calls. A strong, wired, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/10Mbps+ upload speed). A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication through Okta Verify.
