Key Responsibilities Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, serving as a "single resource" for our clients. Provide customized communication based on client preferences and individualized needs, creating a deep connection with our clients by understanding and engaging with them without limitation. Completely understand the client's needs by building a trusting and caring relationship, anticipating their needs, and providing relevant information to address unasked questions. Utilize client support frameworks to make informed financial decisions to resolve client issues, and educate clients on various aspects of benefit plan information and available services. Apply generally applicable knowledge to influence client engagement effectively, taking prompt action when faced with an issue or made aware of a situation, and taking ownership of client contacts to resolve their issues. Identify client needs beyond the initial request, responding to unasked questions, and resolving issues with minimal or no supervision. Provide training to clients to help them manage their health, answering questions rapidly to address client concerns and resolve issues while avoiding over-committing. Process claim referrals, new case handoffs, and escalate issues as appropriate through the system for complaints and requests. Initiate out-reach/welcome calls to ensure constituent expectations are met or exceeded, identifying trends and emerging client support issues, and attempting to develop solutions to address expected issues or plan elements of interest. Collaborate with different departments to deliver client-specific presentations, and work cooperatively with colleagues to deliver the best client experience. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field. Client care experience in a transaction-based environment, such as a call center or retail store, is preferred. Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion in client interactions. Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in the healthcare industry or a related field. Knowledge of benefit plan information and available services. Experience with client support frameworks and software applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
