Here are some of the perks you can look forward to: * **Fully remote position**: Work from the comfort of your own home, with rotational shifts available for EST, CT, or PST. * **Full benefits**: Enjoy comprehensive health plans, paid time off, retirement savings, corporate wellness, educational assistance, corporate discounts, and more – all effective the first month following your hire date! * **Paid time off**: Take breaks when you need them, with paid time off for great work-life balance. * **401k with match**: Grow your retirement savings with our 401k plan, with no vesting period. * **Career growth opportunities**: Join a rapidly growing organization with a strong focus on employee development and career advancement. **Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service support to our Review Team, including: * **Interacting with beneficiaries and providers**: Communicate verbally and in writing with external customers to furnish and request review information. * **Creating and formatting letters**: Type, merge, proof, print, and mail correspondence as needed. * **Maintaining timeliness**: Ensure that all letters are sent out in a timely manner, with correct components included and reviewed for grammatical and spacing errors. * **Providing intake for appeals**: Assist with and participate in Review Team in identifying areas for potential improvement, as noted on case reviews and process. * **Answering the Beneficiary Helpline**: Utilize the hunt group and available light functions to determine how to best assist callers, either by a service offered by arenaflex or by referring them to an external agency and properly entering referral into the CMS system. **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * **High school diploma or equivalent**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with post-high school business courses a plus. * **Medical terminology desired**: While not required, medical terminology is a desirable skill for this role. * **Excellent verbal communication skills**: You'll need to be courteous, patient, and customer-oriented, with the ability to maintain composure under potentially stressful situations. * **Good grammar, punctuation, spelling, hyphenation, and written communications skills**: You'll need to be proficient in written communication, with a focus on clarity and accuracy. * **Customer-focused, results-oriented, and capable of building and maintaining relationships**: You'll need to be able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. * **General knowledge of a PC-based computer system**: While not required, knowledge of various software packages is a plus, with the ability to learn additional software packages as needed. * **Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments**: You'll need to be able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments effectively. * **Good organizational skills and ability to work independently**: You'll need to be able to work independently, with good organizational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively. **Experience** While not required, we're looking for candidates with: * **Two to three years of clerical experience**: Experience in word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities is a plus. * **Prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology**: While not required, prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology is a desirable skill for this role. **Why Join arenaflex?** At arenaflex, we're committed to creating a work environment that's supportive, inclusive, and empowering.
