Key Responsibilities Engage directly with customers via phone, addressing a variety of topics, from shopping for new pets to problem-solving and finding the perfect products for their furry friends. Research and problem-solve to determine appropriate solutions for customers, thinking proactively and setting follow-ups as needed to ensure contact resolution. Operate with understanding, utilizing active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness when interacting with customers and team members. Demonstrate a willingness to learn, sharing and receiving feedback, and operating in a culture of open-mindedness and growth. Collaborate with teammates, managers, and other team members across the organization using virtual tools such as Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to our infectious customer-centric culture. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2 years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service. Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening, as demonstrated in a written assessment. Fluency in both Canadian French (Quebecois) and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in both languages. Ability to multi-task, maintaining conversations on the phone while navigating computer systems and taking notes, and performing well in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using computers for data entry, rapid navigation through systems, and internet searches to support our customers. Ability to adapt to change, with flexibility to shift schedules and work overtime as needed by the business unit. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass a background check and meet the technical requirements for remote work. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of the pet industry, with a passion for animals and their well-being. Experience with customer service software and technology, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools. Technical Requirements To work remotely as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will need: A dedicated work area that is large enough to accommodate computer monitors and is free from distractions, including background noise that may impact the customer experience. A reliable, wired, high-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 30 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps. A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication through Okta Verify, with options including a smartphone or tablet with the Okta mobile app, or a cell phone that can receive SMS messages and phone calls. A webcam for virtual collaboration and communication with the team. arenaflex will provide all necessary equipment, including a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam.
