Key Responsibilities Engage directly with customers via phone calls, addressing a variety of topics from shopping assistance to problem-solving, ensuring each interaction is handled with empathy and understanding. Research and resolve customer inquiries in a proactive and timely manner, utilizing active listening skills and critical thinking to determine appropriate solutions. Operate with a customer-centric mindset, prioritizing kindness, patience, and understanding in all interactions with customers and team members alike. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow, embracing feedback and contributing to a culture of open-mindedness and collaboration. Utilize virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, and webcams to engage with teammates, managers, and other stakeholders, fostering a sense of community and teamwork in a remote setting. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities, as demonstrated through a written assessment. Fluency in both Canadian French (Quebecois) and English, enabling you to serve a diverse customer base. Ability to multitask, navigating computer systems while maintaining customer conversations and taking notes. Proficiency in using computers for data entry, system navigation, and internet research to support customer inquiries. Adaptability and flexibility to adjust to changing business needs, including schedule shifts and overtime as required. A high school diploma or equivalent, coupled with a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information. Successful completion of a background check. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable: Prior experience working in a remote or virtual team environment. Familiarity with customer service software and technology. Knowledge of the pet industry or experience working with pets. Technical Requirements for Remote Work To ensure a productive and distraction-free work environment, you will need: A dedicated workspace that is large enough to accommodate computer monitors and free from background noise. A reliable, wired, high-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 30 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps. A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication purposes. A willingness to install and use a webcam for virtual meetings and collaboration. arenaflex will provide all necessary equipment, including a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam, to ensure you have the tools you need to succeed in this role.
