About the Role We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home and enjoy a great work-life balance. As a key member of our Review Team, you will provide exceptional customer service support, interacting with beneficiaries and providers via our helpline, creating and proofreading letters, and maintaining timely responses. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service support to beneficiaries and providers via the helpline, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner Create, format, and proofread letters, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all correspondence Maintain effective working relationships between internal and external customers, fostering a positive and collaborative environment Assist in identifying areas for potential improvement, participating in case reviews and process evaluations to drive continuous improvement Answer the Beneficiary Helpline, utilizing the hunt group and available light functions to determine the best course of action for each caller Validate notices and medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documentation Provide intake for all appeals received, ensuring timely and efficient processing Utilize internal quality control tools to assess individual work and team processes, driving excellence in all aspects of customer service Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent, with post-high school business courses being helpful Medical terminology knowledge, or a willingness to learn and develop this skill Excellent verbal communication skills, with a courteous and patient demeanor, and the ability to maintain composure under potentially stressful situations Good grammar, punctuation, spelling, hyphenation, and written communication skills Customer-focused, results-oriented, and capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers General knowledge of a PC-based computer system, with the ability to learn additional software packages as needed Ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and work independently with good organizational skills Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Two to three years of clerical experience, including word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities Prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology, with previous data entry or other clerical experience being a plus Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
