About the Role We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing inbound and outbound telephone support to our customers and agents, assisting with requests both written and verbal, and servicing all product types with consistently increasing transaction knowledge. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls from agents and customers, assisting with a variety of inquiries, including status on pending new business applications and pending in-force transactions, assisting with specific in-force policy questions, product information, information on rates, and service issue resolution. Requires a working knowledge of processes and procedures for New Business, Claims, and In-force Back Office, navigating multiple administrative systems. Document detailed and concise notes on all interactions, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Train and assist Associate Customer Service Representatives, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge. Process and maintain department Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by processing progressively more complex transactions and servicing customer requests with a sense of urgency and accuracy. Perform additional tasks at the request of management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and needs. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Associate Customer Service Representative skills, plus proficient written and verbal communication skills. Strong multi-tasking abilities and adeptness at using tools and resources available. Proactive approach to customer service, anticipating needs and providing solutions. Ability to show empathy and mentor new hires, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration. High school education or equivalent experience. 6 months to a year of experience working as an Associate Customer Service Representative or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: Previous experience in a financial services or insurance industry, with knowledge of products and services. Advanced knowledge of administrative systems and software applications. Certifications or training in customer service, such as CSR or CMS designations. Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be eligible for a range of compensation, perks, and benefits, including: Hourly salary range: $21.00 - $31.96, plus eligibility for an annual bonus program.
