About the Role As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in helping patients check into the hospital. You'll be the first point of contact for patients and their families, answering questions, and providing compassionate support during the registration process. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires a confident multi-tasker who is a quick study with technology and can type and answer phones with ease. Key Responsibilities Work on computers and answer phones to intake information in a busy environment, collecting details that must be input correctly between physician and nurse check-ins. Help patients who may be very ill or worried, listening carefully to ease their anxiety and asking follow-up questions to build rapport in real-time. Work in a fast-paced environment, often on your feet, assisting patients to complete their registration and collecting patient and insurance information. Collaborate with a team you can rely on, who care about your progress toward career goals and are committed to helping you succeed. Requirements To thrive in this role, you'll need to have: A High School Diploma or GED Excellent customer service experience, with a passion for delivering exceptional support and care to patients and their families. While previous experience or knowledge in healthcare is not required, you should be prepared to see illness and injuries in a hospital/lab environment. We'll provide you with comprehensive training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role. Essential Skills and Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Excellent typing and computer skills, with the ability to work across multiple screens and programs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease. Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this US-based position is $14.00 - $17.37 per hour, depending on role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
