Job Summary As a Customer Service Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for managing the front-end operations of our store, ensuring that all customers are taken care of in an efficient and timely manner. You will supervise the Service Desk and financial services procedures, maintain shelf and display integrity, and provide coaching and mentoring to our team members. Your goal will be to deliver exceptional customer service, build strong relationships with our customers, and support the arenaflex mission statement. Key Responsibilities Manage front-end operations, including monitoring customer flow, opening registers, managing breaks and lunches, and maintaining supplies and closing procedures Supervise Service Desk and financial services procedures, including providing tills, opening and closing the service desk, selling financial services products, and handling refunds and customer inquiries Maintain shelf and display integrity, including managing new, missing, and price change tags/bibs, and ensuring sign integrity and ad pricing and signage Provide coaching and mentoring to team members, recognizing and unleashing their full potential, and providing the needed resources and support Facilitate conflict resolution, seeking to understand different viewpoints and effectively balancing competing priorities Define issues upfront and use critical thinking skills and logic to maintain answers to questions and provide effective solutions Consistently produce and emphasize the need to produce high-quality products and services, while being aware of issues and following procedures that affect personal safety and the safety of others Essential Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred Minimum one year of experience operating a cash register in a retail establishment, preferably in a grocery store Ability to accurately count money and manage cash handling procedures Adaptable to different situations and able to respond with flexibility to shifting priorities and rapid change Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions, and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively balance competing priorities and facilitate conflict resolution Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and a positive attitude Skills and Competencies Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering more than expected to our customers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and a positive attitude Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to effectively balance competing priorities and facilitate conflict resolution Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
