Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Advocate I to join our team at blithequark. As a Customer Advocate I, you will play a critical role in responding to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing business needs. Key Responsibilities Respond to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner Conduct research to resolve customer inquiries and concerns Utilize data entry and typing skills to accurately document customer interactions Apply analytical and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrate independent decision-making skills to resolve customer complaints and concerns Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience Spend approximately 85% of scheduled time on the phone, with flexibility to adjust to changing business needs Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment Data entry and/or typing experience required Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Strong analytical and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and make sound decisions Ability to spend approximately 90% of scheduled time on the phone, with scheduled breaks Preferred Qualifications 9 months of customer service experience preferred Experience working with various lines of business, such as CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy a plus Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change Referral preference given to applicants who can take and meet testing criteria Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
