Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Member Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our members and providers, providing exceptional telephone assistance and support. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our members receive the best possible experience, addressing their inquiries, and resolving their concerns in a timely and professional manner. Key aspects of this role include: Mandatory residence within 50 miles of Linthicum, MD, to ensure ease of access for occasional in-office meetings and training. A comprehensive training schedule for the first six weeks, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in this position. A standard production schedule of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to work from home, utilizing our provided equipment and secure, high-speed internet connection via an ethernet cable. Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Answering inbound calls from members and providers, responding to a wide range of inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs. Providing accurate and timely information, ensuring that each caller receives an exceptional experience, reflecting our commitment to personalized health care solutions. Maintaining high performance standards, meeting attendance requirements, and achieving call quality goals, all of which are crucial to our mission of delivering outstanding service. Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications: The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form, with members and providers, ensuring that all interactions are professional, empathetic, and solution-focused. A high school diploma or equivalent GED, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and skills. The capability to work independently from home, being self-sufficient and disciplined, with the ability to commute to our office in Charleston, WV, if required due to prolonged technical issues. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working remotely in a call center setting, showcasing your ability to adapt to our work-from-home model and thrive in a virtual environment.
