Job Overview The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in delivering superior service to our customers, responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring seamless communication between our customers and internal teams. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support, building strong relationships with clients, and driving customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Receive, process, and track assigned orders through to scheduling, ensuring timely and accurate delivery Consult with internal departments to ensure order completeness, on-time delivery, and accurate invoicing Communicate significant information regarding customer accounts and orders to internal departments, including Sales Representatives Coordinate customer requests for product specifications, availability, shipping, quotations, and estimates, samples Serve as a link between the customer and design, sales, and production teams to meet customer requirements Maintain organized customer files and investigate and resolve customer complaints, including billing issues Manage on-hand inventory levels, reconcile to customer orders, forecast, and just-in-time schedules, including taking physical inventory at month-end Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with our company's values and mission. The basic requirements for this position include: Education equivalent to a high school diploma Two years of previous work experience in a customer service role, with experience handling customer orders on an order entry system and maintaining strong positive customer business relationships Strong working knowledge of computer systems, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Preferred requirements include: Associate's degree or college business coursework Previous experience using an automated order entry system Previous experience in the manufacturing sector, containerboard, and corrugated packaging industry Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of skills, knowledge, and abilities that enable them to deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
