Key Responsibilities Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer interaction is friendly, helpful, and respectful. Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, contributing to a safe and secure shopping environment. Helps in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from stockroom to sales floor, ensuring that the store is always fully stocked and visually appealing. Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store, taking pride in maintaining a tidy and organized shopping environment. Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system, ensuring that all transactions are efficient, secure, and accurate. Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, reporting any concerns or issues to management in a timely and professional manner. Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to teamwork. Position Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and working effectively in a team environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating a commitment to flexibility and adaptability.
