Job Overview As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring that they have a positive and memorable shopping experience. Your key priorities will include greeting customers, assisting them with the selection of merchandise, completing transactions, and answering questions regarding the store and merchandise. You will be an integral part of our store team, working together to maintain a clean, well-stocked store and ensuring that our customers feel valued and supported throughout their shopping experience. Key Responsibilities Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that customers feel welcome and supported throughout their shopping experience. Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, including restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment. Helps in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from stockroom to sales floor, ensuring that the store is always fully stocked and ready for customers. Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store, using initiative and problem-solving skills to ensure that the store is always looking its best. Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system, ensuring that all transactions are completed efficiently and accurately. Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, reporting any concerns or issues to management as needed. Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including participating in visual merchandising, store displays, and promotional activities. Position Requirements To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will need to meet the following requirements: Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent. Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments. Previous customer service experience is an asset, but not required. Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to adapt to changing store schedules and priorities as needed. Job Knowledge: A strong understanding of retail operations, including sales techniques, customer service principles, and store maintenance procedures. Relationship Management: Ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management, including providing excellent customer service and supporting store team members as needed.
