Job Overview We are looking for a Customer Service Representative, or as we like to call it, a Concierge, who will provide proactive, white-glove level service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask and resolve issues effectively. As a Concierge at blithequark, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers are extremely satisfied with our products and services, and that every interaction with our company leaves a lasting positive impression. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat channels, ensuring that every customer feels noticed and taken care of personally Resolve customer issues and complaints effectively and efficiently, with a sense of empathy and a commitment to finding solutions that meet our customers' needs Handle call intake in accordance with customer service policies, ensuring that every customer interaction is handled professionally and with care Assist customers with technical issues and troubleshoot any internet-related problems, providing clear and concise explanations and solutions Educate customers on our products and services, making recommendations to improve their internet experience through inside sales and upselling/cross-selling opportunities Process customer orders and cancellations for inbound sales, and update customer account information at each interaction to ensure accuracy and efficiency Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex customer issues, escalating unresolved issues to higher authorities when necessary to ensure timely and effective resolution Meet or exceed customer service goals and targets, including response time, customer satisfaction, and first-call resolution rate, continually striving for excellence and improvement Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and technical information, staying current with industry trends and developments to provide the best possible service to our customers Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required At least 3+ years of experience in customer service, with a preference for experience in the telecommunications industry A proven track record of connecting with customers and producing exceptional satisfaction scores, demonstrating a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences Strong knowledge of the fiber internet market and technology trends, staying current with industry developments and advancements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and management Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically, analyzing complex issues and developing creative solutions that meet our customers' needs Ability to learn new technical skills quickly, adapting to new systems, processes, and technologies with ease and enthusiasm Customer-focused and committed to providing exceptional service, continually striving for excellence and improvement in every interaction Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary, demonstrating a commitment to meeting the needs of our customers and the business Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM or billing systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies as needed Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a call center or customer service environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices Knowledge of fiber internet technology and services, with a strong understanding of the benefits and features of our products and services Experience with CRM or billing systems, with the ability to navigate and utilize these systems to provide exceptional customer service Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication skills : excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner Interpersonal skills : ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and management Problem-solving skills : strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions that meet our customers' needs Time management skills : ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, meeting deadlines and achieving goals in a fast-paced environment Technical skills : ability to learn new technical skills quickly, adapting to new systems, processes, and technologies with ease and enthusiasm Customer service skills : customer-focused and committed to providing exceptional service, continually striving for excellence and improvement in every interaction Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
