Job Overview As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every customer has a positive and memorable shopping experience. Your duties will include assisting customers with questions and recommendations, managing sales transactions, maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets, and keeping the store well-stocked and recovered. You will be responsible for creating a positive, safe, and respectful environment for our customers, associates, and leaders, while maintaining professional and friendly interactions at all times. Key Responsibilities Assist customers with questions and recommendations to ensure they find what they need Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register, maintaining accuracy and efficiency Maintain the security of cash and protect company assets, adhering to our high standards of integrity Keep the store well-stocked, recover merchandise, and receive merchandise, helping with unloading trucks and stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment, maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders Maintain the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred. You must be able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents, with excellent customer service and relationship management skills. Strong organizational and communication skills are also required, along with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
