You'll be responsible for: * **Greeting and acknowledging every customer**: You'll be the face of blithequark, and you'll make every customer feel welcome and valued. * **Accurately and efficiently operating the register**: You'll be responsible for processing transactions, handling returns, and providing excellent customer service. * **Assisting with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store**: You'll be a key player in maintaining the appearance of our stores and ensuring that our products are always looking their best. * **Communicating customer needs to Team Leaders**: You'll be the voice of the customer, and you'll help us understand their needs and preferences. * **Maintaining the store appearance and completing additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned**: You'll be a team player who's always willing to lend a hand and help us achieve our goals. **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * **High School diploma or equivalent**: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but we're open to considering candidates with relevant experience and skills. * **6 months of prior retail experience**: Prior retail experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate. * **Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis**: You'll need to be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * **A positive attitude and team player**: You'll need to be a team player who's always willing to lend a hand and help us achieve our goals. **Physical Requirements** As a Customer Service Associate, you'll need to be able to: * **Lift and carry up to 50 pounds**: You'll need to be able to lift and carry heavy objects, such as merchandise and equipment. * **Push and pull up to 35 pounds**: You'll need to be able to push and pull heavy objects, such as carts and equipment. * **Stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner**: You'll need to be able to stand for long periods and work in a safe and efficient manner. **Compensation and Benefits** As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a competitive compensation package that includes: * **New Hire Starting Pay Range: $15.25-$16.00**: You'll start at a competitive hourly rate, with opportunities for advancement and increased compensation. * **Benefits**: We offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings. **Equal Opportunity Employer** blithequark is an equal opportunity employer.
