Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Experience Concierge and Chat Professional to join our team. As a Chat Professional, you will be the face of American Express, delivering exceptional service to our Card Members visiting the American Express Centurion Lounge. You will be responsible for providing travel, card, concierge, and lifestyle services to our Card Members, ensuring that their experience with us is nothing short of extraordinary. Key Responsibilities Welcome and provide access to our Card Members upon arrival at the lounge Take ownership of the customer's experience from start to finish, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded Develop creative solutions to resolve customer issues or concerns, fostering brand loyalty and turning customers into loyal advocates Utilize the Customer First mindset to address customer needs and expectations Provide concierge and lifestyle recommendations, travel advice, and minimal reservation assistance Collaborate with our food and beverage lounge partners to accommodate the needs of our Card Members Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of 1 year of recent experience serving premium clients Airline, lounge, or travel industry experience, including reservation experience A passion for delivering proactive solutions to customers Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage customers and provide personalized support The ability to listen to customers' needs and provide tailored recommendations, resulting in high customer satisfaction A professional and positive demeanor, with the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Familiarity with American Express products and services Knowledge of the travel and hospitality industry Experience working with technology platforms, including chat and reservation systems Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities A strong focus on customer satisfaction and experience The ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Career Growth and Development At American Express, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
