Job Overview In this critical role, you will serve as a technical expert and strategic advisor, responsible for administering and governing SharePoint Online environments, implementing and managing M365 Copilot and OneDrive for Business, and developing and maintaining SharePoint sites and related applications. Your technical expertise will be invaluable in handling complex customer issues, troubleshooting Office applications, and supporting M365 Apps deployment. You will also play a key role in managing licensing and activation for perpetual and subscription versions of Office products, maintaining software within fixed and modern lifecycle policies, and overseeing deployment and configuration for Office LTSC and M365 Apps on Windows and Mac. Key Responsibilities Administer and govern SharePoint Online environments, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Implement and manage M365 Copilot and OneDrive for Business, leveraging these tools to enhance customer productivity and collaboration. Develop and maintain SharePoint sites and related applications, aligning with customer needs and industry best practices. Handle important customer issues and work effectively in challenging situations, providing timely and effective solutions. Utilize technical skills for troubleshooting Office applications, particularly Outlook, and support M365 Apps deployment using SCCM/MECM/Intune/Cloud Update. Manage licensing and activation for perpetual and subscription versions of Office products, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness. Maintain software within fixed and modern lifecycle policies, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements. Oversee deployment and configuration for Office LTSC and M365 Apps on Windows and Mac, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions. Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud-based solutions, facilitating a seamless and efficient transition for our customers. Transition customers from Office 2016 to Office 2019/Office LTSC 2021 and M365 Apps, providing guidance and support throughout the process. Facilitate changes from MSI-based to C2R-based installations, ensuring a smooth and successful migration. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. The following requirements and qualifications are essential: Minimum of 10+ years of total experience in IT, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies and cloud solutions. 5+ years of experience with Office 2016/M365 Apps, demonstrating a deep understanding of these products and their applications. Proficiency in M365 Apps Admin Center capabilities, with the ability to leverage these tools to drive customer success. Experience with Office for the web apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and a strong understanding of their features and functionalities. Basic knowledge of local and cloud group policies, with the ability to apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios. Experience with environment-specific scenarios involving third-party applications and add-ins, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box. Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Ability to work independently and within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration.
