Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Engineer and Security Specialist to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our Security organization, you will play a critical role in growing our cybersecurity business by building and expanding relationships with clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and an advocate for our security solutions, providing support to C-level executives, security leaders, developers, and analysts to drive projects forward. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping clients navigate the complexities of cloud security and compliance, ensuring they get the most out of our Cloud products. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Security Sales and blithequark Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand client technical and compliance concerns, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers. Work with all blithequark Cloud Security products to demonstrate and validate solution benefits in client and partner environments. Support blithequark Cloud Security opportunities and relationships, own technical aspects of deals, and deliver technical presentations, product and solution briefings, proofs-of-concepts, and demos to clients, partners, and stakeholders. Develop and deliver product messaging to highlight our solutions' value proposition using strategies including presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management, and response reports. Attend client sites, conferences, and other relevant events as needed. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. At least 10 years of experience in security or cloud native models in a client-facing role. Experience in network security (e.g., threat detection, malware analysis, cloud security posture management, or identity and access management systems). Excellent critical thinking, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to speak fluently and convey technical presentations. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: A graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a technical field. Certification in the Cloud or Security industry. Experience in implementing security solutions for enterprises (e.g., threat identification and hunting, malware analysis, cloud security posture management, identity and access management systems, or SIEM and Takeoff). Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the network security industry (e.g., ransomware, attack vectors, zero trust, and more). Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product marketing, and engineering. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits The US base salary range for this full-time position is $35-45 per year, depending on location and experience.
