Job Overview: Customer Care Specialist Role The Customer Care Specialist role at arenaflex is a critical position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer support. As a Customer Care Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, handling inbound service calls and specializing in billing and technical support. Your goal will be to own the customer interaction from start to finish, ensuring that every customer receives personalized attention and support to resolve their issues efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities: Support billing calls by processing payments, accurately educating customers on their billing cycle, payment due dates, and the impact of non-pay status, as well as educating customers on general charges to their account based on package and prorations when changes are made to the package. Proactively review the customer's account and educate the customer on additional service options to enhance their overall experience with arenaflex. Support all arenaflex video, phone, and internet products with basic and advanced troubleshooting to resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner. Escalate any customer issues that may be indicative of larger network issues, ensuring that our technical teams are aware of potential problems and can work to resolve them quickly. Perform all other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. Requirements for Success To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities that enable you to deliver exceptional customer support and technical expertise. These include: Essential Qualifications: At least one year of customer service experience, with prior call center experience being a significant plus. High school diploma or GED required, demonstrating a foundation in basic skills and knowledge. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and solve practical issues, using analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and concerns. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening skills and telephone etiquette, to effectively communicate complex technical support and billing information to customers. Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, product information, and training materials, to stay up-to-date with our products and services. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a technical support or billing role, demonstrating a strong understanding of technical concepts and billing processes. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box to resolve complex customer issues. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
