About the Role As a Coach/Ops Mgr Trainee, you'll be embarking on a journey that will equip you with the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to succeed in a leadership role. Key Responsibilities Lead and Develop Teams : Teach, train, and actively listen to associates; tour stores and provide feedback; communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, business initiatives, and company direction. Model Exceptional Customer Service : Follow and demonstrate the One Best Way (OBW) service model; manage and support customer service initiatives; ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Drive Financial Performance : Review and evaluate P&L statements; manage and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; monitor and ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Supervise and Develop Hourly Associates : Hire, train, and mentor associates; assign duties; set clear expectations; provide associate recognition; communicate expectations consistently and effectively. Coordinate and Complete Job-Related Activities : Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identify and communicate goals and objectives. Ensure Compliance with Company Policies : Implement related action plans; utilize and support the Open Door Policy; provide direction and guidance on applying company policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following minimum qualifications: 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience. Additionally, you'll be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
