About the Role We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in developing and delivering innovative SaaS solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a critical role in influencing the technical strategy for our new product, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring engineering excellence across the team. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and documentation. Write clean, maintainable code and develop new features and components that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and improve our SaaS product, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and reliability. Provide guidance and leadership to junior engineers on the team, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Ensure software systems are reliable, scalable, and high-performing, troubleshooting issues when they arise and implementing solutions that drive long-term success. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. Expertise in working with technologies such as Java, Spring, React, NodeJS, and SQL Databases. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable solutions. Experience working with large-scale systems and event-driven architectures, with a deep understanding of software design patterns and principles. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on software engineering or a related area. Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure, and containerization using Docker. Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly into software development. A background in creating inclusive digital experiences and a passion for driving accessibility and usability in software development.
