About the Azure Customer Engineer Role The Azure Customer Engineer role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of our global support delivery team, you will closely monitor and respond to customer questions, representing arenaflex and Azure Engineering in these interactions. Your deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, combined with your passion for assisting customers, will enable you to identify recurring issues and feature requests, driving product improvements and supportability enhancements that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Key Responsibilities Support Azure customers through various modalities, as part of a global support delivery team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues. Develop and maintain a deep technical understanding of Azure services, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends to provide expert guidance and support to customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including feature engineering teams, to report bugs, expedite bug fixes, and bubble up feature requests, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Build and maintain close working relationships with teams related to assigned service areas, leveraging these relationships to drive product improvements and ensure seamless escalations. Develop and update Azure product documentation to help customers deliver solutions on Azure, ensuring that documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and easily accessible. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical expertise, customer-facing experience, and collaborative mindset. The following qualifications and requirements are essential for the Azure Customer Engineer position: Required Qualifications 1+ year(s) of software industry experience related to technology, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, combined with 2+ years of experience in the software industry related to technology, or equivalent experience. 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving customer satisfaction. Experience in one or more automation languages, such as PowerShell, Python, C#, or OpenSource, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive process improvements and automation. Certification in Microsoft and/or competing Cloud Technologies, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
