Job Overview and Key Responsibilities As a Ramp Agent and Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of baggage, cargo, and mail. Your daily tasks will include: Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, as well as guiding incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions to ensure timely connections. Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions. Operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in congested areas, while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency. Utilizing baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage to customers' destinations. Work Environment and Schedule As a Ramp Agent and Customer Service Representative, you will work in a fast-paced airport environment, where no two days are the same. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts, with schedules ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, depending on your seniority and operational needs. You will also be expected to work in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, rain, and snow. Minimum Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following minimum qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. At least 18 years of age and authorization to work in the United States. Valid driver's license. Proficiency in English.
