Role Overview: The Heart of Our Customer Experience As a Reservations Consultant and Social Media Live Chat Specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibility will be to manage all customer interactions across our digital platforms. You'll be the first point of contact for our members, understanding their needs, and assisting with their reservations enquiries. This includes responding promptly to social media comments and messages, moderating posts, managing live chat on multiple booking sites, and handling customer inquiries via our Shopify store chat. You'll also play a crucial role in improving efficiency by assisting in the setup and management of chatbots and automation tools. Key Responsibilities: Where You'll Make a Difference Manage reservations bookings for members and assist with enquiries, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience. Monitor and respond to inquiries across Facebook, Instagram, Meta Messenger, and other social media platforms, providing timely and effective support. Moderate and engage with post comments in a professional, brand-aligned manner, fostering a positive and inclusive community. Manage Live Chat across multiple booking sites and Shopify chat, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to customer queries. Assist with chatbot setup, optimisation, and workflows to improve response times and enhance the overall customer experience. Handle reservation inquiries, provide accurate product/travel information, and support customers through the booking process, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey. Escalate complex queries to the reservations team where required, ensuring that our members receive the best possible support. Track and report on common inquiries to help improve customer experience, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services. Requirements: Your Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you'll need: 5+ years of experience in the travel industry, with a deep understanding of the sector and its challenges. Experience with Expedia TAAP, Hotel Beds, and Amadeus, or similar systems, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies. Proven experience in customer service, reservations, or live chat management, with a passion for delivering exceptional support and resolving issues efficiently. Proficiency in Meta Messenger, Shopify Chat, and Live Chat platforms, with the ability to manage multiple channels and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and tone, ensuring that our brand voice is consistently represented across all channels. Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat windows efficiently, with a focus on providing prompt and accurate responses to customer queries. Experience with chatbot setup and automation tools preferred, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
