Job Title : Technical Program Manager Finance Workstream (Client-Facing ERP Modernization) Location : REMOTE ( EST / CST Based out only ) Exp Req : 15 20 Yrs Max Role Summary We are seeking a client-facing Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the Finance workstream of a large-scale ERP Finance and HR Modernization program. This role is responsible for driving execution across Finance integrations, testing, cutover, and post Go Live stabilization, while serving as a primary point of coordination between client stakeholders, system integrators, and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate is a strong program leader and communicator who can manage complex dependencies, lead structured testing and cutover efforts, and confidently engage with both business and technical stakeholders-without requiring deep, hands-on product configuration expertise. Key Responsibilities : Client & Stakeholder Leadership Serve as a client-facing leader for the Finance workstream, providing clear status, risk visibility, and recommendations. Facilitate regular working sessions and status forums with Finance, IT, vendors, and system integrators. Ensure meetings are purpose-driven, with clear agendas, decisions, and documented outcomes. Testing Execution (SIT/UAT) Prepare for and facilitate daily Finance SIT/UAT review calls, documenting progress, risks, and action items. Maintain and govern the Finance SIT/UAT tracking artifacts, ensuring accuracy and transparency. Drive follow-up on defects, open items, and testing dependencies through to resolution. Escalate risks that threaten testing timelines or Go Live readiness, proposing mitigation paths. Integration & Dependency Management Oversee Finance integration testing and readiness, coordinating across upstream and downstream systems. Provide clear input into weekly integration status reporting for client leadership. Actively manage cross-workstream dependencies that impact Finance outcomes. Vendor & Partner Coordination Coordinate with vendors and implementation partners for testing, cutover, and execution activities. Ensure vendor deliverables align with program milestones and client expectations. Proactively resolve issues arising from vendor handoffs or dependency gaps. Quickly raising concerns and issues with vendor delays or dependencies Cutover & Go Live Readiness Drive Finance integration cutover planning, including timelines, dependencies, roles, and execution steps. Lead coordination and oversight of cutover execution through Go Live. Ensure Finance workstream readiness aligns with overall program Go/No-Go criteria. Hypercare & Stabilization Post Go Live, support and facilitate Hypercare activities, working closely with client teams, IT, and vendors. Help triage Finance-related issues, track resolution progress, and ensure timely communication. Support transition from Hypercare to steady-state operations. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Project Manager on large-scale ERP, Finance, or enterprise system implementations. Strong experience leading client-facing workstreams in complex, multi-vendor environments. Demonstrated ownership of SIT/UAT execution, integration tracking, and Go Live readiness. Proven ability to manage dependencies, risks, and escalations across business and technology teams. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical status into executive-ready insights. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Finance modernization or ERP transformation programs. Prior ownership of cutover and Hypercare activities. Consulting experience or background working with system integrators. Familiarity with Finance processes e.g., Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash), even if not a subject-matter expert.
