Key Responsibilities The Entry Level Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to external content creation teams, creating reference materials, and offering training to ensure these teams are proficient in the use of blithequark's toolset. The role involves solving and debugging issues with tools and workflows, escalating complex problems to the tool development team, and advocating for improvements suggested by external teams. Collaboration with other engineers to develop tools and processes that enhance efficiency and quality is also a key aspect of this position. The successful candidate will guide cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive feature development from concept to completion, exemplifying reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all interactions. Provide technical support to content/external teams regarding the use of content tools, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimal downtime. Create comprehensive reference materials and deliver training sessions to get external teams up to speed with the toolset, promoting autonomy and efficiency. Solve and debug possible issues with tools and workflows, applying analytical skills to quickly resolve issues for users and maintain productivity. Escalate more complex or problematic issues to the tool development team, working closely with production to track these issues in JIRA and ensure prompt resolution. Advocate for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Partner with other engineers to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality, contributing to the evolution of blithequark's technological capabilities. Guide or lead cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and working towards common goals. Exemplify reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions, serving as a positive representative of blithequark's values and mission. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a strong foundation in computer science or a related field, with a degree or equivalent work experience. Experience supporting a live service or tool environment is highly desirable, as is familiarity with Unity 3D game and tool development. Proficiency in C# code, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with external partners are essential. A positive attitude, excellent organization skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously are also crucial for success in this position. Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience, providing a solid understanding of programming principles and software development methodologies. Experience supporting a live service or tool environment, demonstrating the ability to work under pressure and manage critical issues effectively. Unity 3D game and tool development experience, offering a unique perspective on content creation and the tools that support it. Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software, facilitating efficient issue management and collaboration with development teams. iOS and Android mobile development experience, providing a broad understanding of mobile technologies and their applications in content creation. 5 years' experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment, although this may be adjusted for highly skilled and motivated entry-level candidates.
