Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support to a child with autism, implementing interventions tailored to their unique needs. Collect and record data on client behavior and progress, using this information to inform future interventions. Work closely with our team to ensure a cohesive and effective support plan for each child. Develop and maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working with clients, families, and colleagues. Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, striving for excellence in your role. Maintain a high level of reliability, punctuality, and attendance, ensuring consistency in the support we provide. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: Some experience in childcare, demonstrating your ability to work with children and understand their needs. A passion for working one-on-one with children with autism, showing empathy and a commitment to their development. Excellent customer care, customer service, computer, organization, time management, writing, and verbal communications skills. The ability to meet assigned goals and work towards achieving them with dedication and perseverance. A High School Diploma or equivalent, along with proof of employment eligibility/work authorization. The capacity to pass a background check, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: A stable job history, demonstrating your reliability and commitment to your work. Certification in First Aid and CPR, showing your preparedness for any situation. Completion of some college coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or another human services field, highlighting your relevant knowledge and skills. The ability to speak multiple languages, enhancing your ability to communicate with a diverse range of clients and families.
