Long Form YouTube Copywriter (Educational Content & Script Writing)
Location: Remote Type: Full-time About the Role We’re hiring a long-form YouTube Copywriter to work directly with the Head of Content and Brian Jung, the creator behind a 2M+ subscriber YouTube channel in the finance, investing, and crypto space. This is not a generic writing role. You’ll be responsible for building clear, structured, beginner-friendly educational content that holds attention over long runtimes. You’ll turn high-level ideas, research, and outlines into polished long-form YouTube scripts that are accurate, engaging, and ready for recording. You’ll regularly sit in on ideation and outlining calls, ask questions, and help translate complex topics into scripts that millions of people actually understand. This role is designed for someone who enjoys working deeply with ideas, values clarity and precision, and wants to contribute long-term to an education-focused content library. This role produces educational content only and does not provide financial, investment, or legal advice. What You'll Be Doing • Write long-form YouTube scripts based on approved ideas and outlines • Structure educational content logically so beginner viewers can follow without getting overwhelmed • Research finance, macro, investing, and crypto topics using reputable sources • Break down complex concepts into simple, engaging explanations for beginners • Accurately replicate Brian Jung’s tone, pacing, and storytelling style • Fact-check claims, statistics, and data points • Revise scripts based on feedback until they are record-ready • Occasionally contribute angles or improvements that increase clarity, retention, or storytelling impact All scripts must be original, accurate, and written specifically for the channel. What We’re Looking For Must-Have • Proven ability to structure long-form educational content • Background in copywriting • Able to structure long-form educational content in a clear, logical way that’s easy for beginners to follow • Comfortable writing content that ranges from shorter long-form videos to multi-hour educational deep dives • Strong understanding of finance, macroeconomics, investing, and/or crypto • Experience simplifying complex financial topics for beginner audiences • Professional-level English proficiency • Strong research and fact-checking discipline • Can work effectively from outlines and research inputs and turn them into complete, polished scripts • Comfortable working inside a structured content pipeline with feedback and revisions • Reliable, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented Nice-to-Have • Prior ghostwriting experience (for creators, founders, or public figures) • Experience writing for a YouTube channel or for a content creator • Experience working with finance, fintech, or crypto companies • Familiarity with YouTube retention, pacing, and storytelling frameworks Please submit your application to Job Type: Full-time Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
