Scrum Master
We’re looking for an experienced Scrum Master to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to a fast-moving software team. This is a hands-on role focused on establishing Agile practices from the ground up in an early-stage, ambiguous environment. You’ll work closely with engineers and non-technical stakeholders to manage the product backlog, run effective sprints, and ensure the team delivers the right work—at a sustainable pace and with high quality. This is a remote role | 25-40 hrs/week What You’ll Do Agile Delivery & Team Facilitation: • Implement and evolve Scrum practices in an environment without existing process • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives) • Establish sprint cadence, velocity tracking, and continuous improvement rhythms • Coach teams on Agile best practices and remove delivery impediments • Manage dependencies and protect team focus across a service-oriented architecture Backlog & Requirements Management: • Own and prioritize the product backlog with key stakeholders • Write clear, detailed user stories with acceptance criteria • Decompose epics, groom the backlog multiple sprints ahead, and ensure work is development-ready • Balance feature delivery with technical debt and long-term product health Stakeholder, Quality & Release Coordination: • Translate complex stakeholder needs into actionable technical requirements • Create and maintain lightweight documentation, workflows, and functional specs • Define and enforce a clear Definition of Done • Coordinate UAT, production releases, and post-release issue triage • Champion quality practices including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD What We’re Looking For • 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or similar Agile delivery role • Proven success introducing Agile processes from scratch in startup or highly unstructured environments • Strong ability to gather requirements and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders • Excellent written communication skills, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation • Comfortable operating independently, making decisions, and thriving amid ambiguity • Able to balance delivery speed with quality and long-term sustainability • Clear communicator across both technical and non-technical audiences • Track record of building Agile systems and practices that teams actually adopt and maintain It is an Asset if you have • Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments • Exposure to AI-driven products or conversational interfaces • Familiarity with Agile tooling such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Apply tot his job
