As a key member of the Global Marketing team at Disney Consumer Products, Games and Publishing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies for Disney Pixar and cross-franchise programs, fostering long-term growth, and maximizing revenue. About the Role The Director, Global Marketing Strategy, will lead the development of marketing strategies to build our brands, drive franchise relevancy, and support audience and category growth. This executive role requires a collaborative mindset, as you will partner closely with various stakeholders across the global CPGP business, including the Marketing Creative & Campaign team, Global Brand Commercialization, Creative, Product Development, Communications, Corporate Brand Management, and Disney Studios. Key Responsibilities Drive the development of Disney Pixar and cross-franchise Consumer Products marketing strategies to build our brands, drive franchise relevancy, and support audience and category growth. Collaborate with Regional CP Marketing leads to garner input and secure buy-in around key strategies. Provide insight-led briefs tied to Playbook pillars to the Marketing Creative & Campaign team. Partner across the globe to develop holistic seasonal marketing strategies tied to consumer and business insights. Identify new seasonal or occasion-led opportunities to drive our business and connect with key audiences in meaningful ways at a global level. Work with global third-party partners to craft integrated marketing plans as part of larger franchise and category initiatives. Champion new ways of working with key licensee partners in the marketing space to maximize joint value. Identify white space marketing and consumer opportunities, shape product and experience development, and demonstrate subject matter expertise around guest demographics, specific markets, guest segments, and target audiences. Stay abreast of digital trends and develop strategies to capitalize on them to drive our brands and business. Integrate deep marketing knowledge to inform communications strategies and diagnose performance of key business areas. Drive the development of OEB plans for key programs at a global level. Set campaign KPIs and own the measurement and evaluation processes in partnership with the GBC and Regional Marketing leads. Manage the Global marketing budget for Disney Pixar and Cross-Franchise initiatives. Lead AOP and 5YP processes for Disney Pixar and Cross-Franchise Global team. Partner extensively with Regional Marketing teams, GBC, Marketing Center of Excellence, Creative, PD, and Communications teams. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you must possess: A minimum of 10 years of experience in Marketing, strategic planning, or related areas of Marketing expertise. Strong partnering and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional peers. Deep experience in marketing a major brand, including writing input briefs and strategic planning. The ability to obtain and accurately interpret data from multiple sources, leveraging data to develop compelling recommendations. Experience managing Global marketing budgets. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Experience working in the entertainment or consumer products industry. Knowledge of Disney Pixar and its franchises. Experience with marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making. A proven track record of driving business growth through innovative marketing strategies. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
