About the Role We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Director to lead our regional Workplace Investigations team. As a key member of our Global Investigations team, you'll oversee a team of senior managers and investigators who conduct sensitive internal workplace investigations. Your expertise will help us identify and mitigate risks, drive consistency and quality in our investigative processes, and foster a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee the standardization of investigative processes and procedures, developing global standards and governance documents to drive consistency and quality. Identify investigative trends and provide solutions for potential systemic threats, vulnerabilities, and risks, collaborating with response teams to quantify potential liability and vulnerability. Develop internal and external relationships, building partnerships with business owners, investigative partners, and stakeholders to grow investigative capabilities and alignment. Oversee global investigations of complex matters with significant impact to the company, reviewing investigative strategies, presenting findings, and testifying to findings and investigative processes. Provide overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs, developing business strategies, and implementing plans and practices. Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce, diagnosing capability gaps and supporting mentorship and succession planning. Cultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics, integrating these values into all programs and practices. Develop and leverage internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals, sponsoring key community outreach and involvement initiatives. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Political Science, or a related field. 5 years' experience in investigative casework/management, auditing, security, or a related field (or 7 years' experience without a degree). 3 years of supervisory experience. Strong understanding and experience overseeing, conducting, and/or managing internal investigations. Key leadership skills, adaptable to a dynamic work environment, with strong communication and influential abilities. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience in fraud, loss, and corruption investigation and management. Certifications such as Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Certified Protection Professional (CPP). Background in commercial or governmental bribery investigations. What We Offer At Walmart, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.
