About the Role This remote position is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Product Design Manager with outstanding design, communication, and people management skills. As a leader, you will manage and inspire a diverse team of Senior Product Designers to deliver impactful, human-centered experiences that meet user needs and business goals. You will be an integral part of the leadership team, collaborating with cross-functional partners to define strategy, operations, and communications that drive the team towards building exceptional products. Key Responsibilities Manage and build a high-performing team of Senior Product Designers, ensuring they deliver impactful experiences that meet user needs and business goals. Coach and mentor team performance, manage resource allocation, project prioritization, and cultivate a culture of design excellence. Champion the design thinking philosophy across the organization, advocating for user-centered design and systems thinking to drive innovation at scale. Utilize your expertise in product strategy, product design, interaction design, and visual design to inform strategic decisions and drive product direction. Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Consumer Insights, and leadership partners to plan OKRs and execute on product roadmaps. Develop and nurture relationships with stakeholders, ensuring your team designs and ships impactful and cohesive product experiences. Effectively communicate your team's product goals and connect related projects across the company, bringing a balanced perspective to strategic discussions. Embody a growth mindset, seeking and providing constructive feedback to continuously improve the product, team, and company. Qualifications and Requirements To succeed in this role, you should possess: 8+ years of experience managing high-performance Product Design teams, with a successful track record of leading teams to ship impactful consumer products across various platforms at a global scale. Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, engage, and provide critical business context to your design teams. Experience navigating ambiguity and driving clarity through rigorous design thinking and human-centered design. A strong background in product direction and strategic thinking, with the ability to articulate a product vision, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to represent your work to broader product teams and leaders. Experience working on large-scale, complex projects across multiple teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include experience working on products at the intersection of User Experience and AI. What We Offer Netflix provides a competitive salary, ranging from $270,000 to $700,000, with a compensation structure that consists solely of an annual salary. You will have the flexibility to choose how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options each year.
