About the Role: Customer Service Representative We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at our North Liberty, IA office. As the first point of contact for our policyholders, you'll play a critical role in delivering personalized service that showcases the value of being insured by GEICO. Your responsibilities will include addressing billing inquiries, making policy adjustments, and providing tailored recommendations to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing timely and effective solutions to their concerns. Process policy changes, cancellations, and renewals in a timely and accurate manner. Address billing questions and resolve any issues that may arise. Offer personalized insurance recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences. Maintain a thorough understanding of GEICO's products and services to provide informed support to customers. Work in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives. Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Proficient computer skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume call center setting. Willingness to work a schedule that includes evening shifts and weekend rotations after completing training. Preferred Qualifications: Previous customer service experience, particularly in the insurance industry. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. Familiarity with insurance products and services. Skills and Competencies: To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide personalized support. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are also essential.
