English Language Assessment Content Editor & Researcher (Fully Remote) We are seeking an English Language Assessment Content Editor and Researcher to support the reliability, validity, and continuous improvement of the G-TELP English Test. This role plays a key part in both content quality assurance and assessment research, contributing to ITSC’s mission to deliver trusted, research-based English proficiency assessments. Key ResponsibilitiesContent Editing & Development • Edit and proofread English test-related content, training materials, and internal documentation for accuracy, clarity, and consistency • Develop and refine written and web-based content for professional and educational audiences • Maintain consistent tone, style, and terminology across assessment-related materials Assessment Research & Analysis • Collaborate with assessment researchers, engineers, and designers on the development and improvement of G-TELP assessments • Support studies related to test validity, reliability, and score interpretation • Analyze qualitative and quantitative proficiency testing data • Conduct data cleaning, organization, basic statistical analysis, and visualization • Present research findings in clear, accessible formats for internal and external stakeholders Research Communication & Outreach • Contribute to in-house research reports and technical documentation • Support dissemination of research through conference presentations and academic publications when applicable • Participate in assessment-related training workshops and internal review sessions • Support limited outreach activities, including communication with U.S. universities regarding assessment research and documentation, as needed Minimum Qualifications: • PhD or Master’s degree in English, Linguistics, Communications, Education, Applied Linguistics, Educational Linguistics, Psychometrics, Language Assessment, Educational Technology, or a related field • 2–3 years of experience in in writing, editing, proofreading, or content development • Experience in language assessment, higher education, or applied research environments is a plus • Experience with academic writing, research reporting, or peer-reviewed publications • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret assessment data • Experience using R and/or Python for data analysis is strongly preferred • Strong editorial and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with global teams Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Paid time off • Parental leave Education: • Doctorate (Required) Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
