Shopify CRO Specialist

Overview We’re a Shopify-focused growth agency looking for an experienced Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) specialist to support ongoing client work. This is not a one-off project. We’re looking for someone we can plug into our delivery team long-term to help improve conversion rates across multiple Shopify stores through structured testing, UX improvements, and data-driven recommendations. If you live and breathe Shopify, understand eCommerce psychology, and know how to turn insights into measurable lifts — this is a great fit. ⸻ What You’ll Be Doing You’ll work alongside our strategy and dev teams to improve conversion performance across Shopify stores. Core responsibilities: -Audit Shopify stores for CRO opportunities (UX, layout, trust, friction, flow) -Analyze user behavior (GA4, Hotjar, Lucky Orange, etc.) -Identify and prioritize CRO opportunities based on impact vs effort -Create CRO roadmaps and testing plans -Recommend and/or execute: -PDP improvements -Collection page optimizations -Cart & checkout improvements -Trust & credibility enhancements -Mobile UX improvements -Run and analyze A/B tests (where applicable) -Report on results with clear takeaways and next steps -Work collaboratively with our dev/design team ⸻ What We’re Looking For Must-have: -Proven experience optimizing Shopify stores -Strong understanding of eCommerce CRO principles -Experience with GA4 + heatmapping tools -Ability to explain why something should change, not just what -Comfortable working with wireframes, screenshots, or annotated feedback -Clear written communication (English) ⸻ How Success Is Measured -Conversion rate improvements -Revenue per visitor increases -Reduced bounce & exit rates -Quality of CRO insights and prioritization -Ability to work independently and deliver consistently ⸻ To Apply (Important) Please include: 1.
