Clinical Research Coordinator I

The Clinical Research Coordinator I will support various research and advocacy projects aimed at assisting families impacted by substance use disorder, including participant recruitment, data collection, and preparing grant progress reports. Responsibilities Assists in development of study protocols including consent forms, interview guides, survey development, recruitment strategies, and data collection plans with staff and study investigators Assists with Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications, continuing reviews, and amendments Supports participant recruitment and data collection, such as verifying eligibility inclusion/exclusion criteria, supporting interview or focus group procedures, and administering surveys and questionnaires for research and reporting requirements Coordinates and organizes meetings related to grant activities. Develops agendas and documents discussion through detailed meeting notes Obtains patient study data and maintains records and databases Prepares data for analysis and data entry Prepares grant performance reports on specified measures Supports qualitative and quantitative data analysis Assists in literature review and manuscript preparation Contribute to protocol recommendations Organize, interpret, and monitor data Serves as a study resource for participants and families, ensuring communication is clear, respectful, and aligned with trauma-informed care principles Other duties as assigned Skills Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required Basic understanding of disease model of substance use disorder, medications for opioid use disorder, working with underserved populations Proficiency in various software packages, including Microsoft Office, NVivo, REDCap, and other desktop tools Working knowledge of data management and statistical software (including SAS, R, or STATA) Careful attention to detail and good organizational skills Ability to follow directions Good interpersonal and communication skills Computer literacy Working knowledge of clinical research protocols Ability to demonstrate respect and professionalism for subjects' rights and individual needs Some relevant research project work 0-1 year preferred Benefits Comprehensive benefits Career advancement opportunities Differentials Premiums Bonuses Recognition programs designed to celebrate your contributions and support your professional growth Company Overview Mass General Brigham specializes in providing medical treatments and health diagnostics services.
