The Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance to the patient/family care plan to collect patient information and provide direct patient care contributing significantly to the achievement of patient and family outcomes. As a member of the direct care team, the CNA I is responsible and accountable for complete and accurate collection and recording of data, completion of routine and delegated direct patient care activities and communicating and collaborating with the Registered Nurse to prioritize workload. Responsibilities • Collect patient information and provide direct patient care. • Contribute to the achievement of patient and family outcomes. • Complete and accurately record data. • Perform routine and delegated direct patient care activities. • Communicate and collaborate with the Registered Nurse to prioritize workload. Requirements • Minimum age requirement of 16 years old. • Must have or has had a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire. Nice-to-haves • Experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire. Benefits • Level 1 benefit package for positions listed as 30 hours per week or greater. • Level 2 benefit package for positions listed as 20 - 29 hours per week. • Non-benefited for positions listed as less than 19 hours per week.
