As the Business Unit Chief Risk Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and mitigating operational risks across the organization. Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies for the entire organization, in line with the company's overall objectives and goals. Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across all business units, and implement appropriate risk mitigation measures. Collaborate with senior management to establish risk appetite and tolerance levels for the organization. Conduct regular risk assessments and provide timely and accurate reports to senior management and the Board of Directors. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management. Lead a team of risk management professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure effective implementation of risk management strategies. Partner with other departments, such as finance, legal, and compliance, to develop and implement risk management processes and procedures. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in risk management, and proactively recommend and implement improvements to the company's risk management framework. Foster a strong risk culture within the organization by promoting risk awareness, accountability, and transparency. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to effectively manage risk. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to ensure that risk considerations are incorporated into business strategies and initiatives. Serve as a subject matter expert on risk management issues and provide training and support to employees across the organization. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management processes and make recommendations for enhancements and improvements. Handle any ad hoc requests and projects related to risk management, as assigned by senior management.
