Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies for the Payments division of Truist Financial. Oversee and manage the risk management processes and procedures for the Payments team. Conduct regular risk assessments and evaluations to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and department heads to ensure risk management strategies align with business objectives. Monitor and analyze market trends and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities for the Payments division. Keep up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulators and industry peers, to stay informed of best practices and industry standards. Communicate risk management updates and reports to senior management and other key stakeholders. Continuously evaluate and improve risk management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Lead and mentor a team of risk management professionals within the Payments division. Provide guidance and support to other departments and teams on risk management matters. Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on risk-related issues and provide recommendations for risk mitigation. Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure risk management practices align with company policies and procedures. Proactively identify potential risks and work with the team to implement appropriate controls and measures to mitigate them. Stay informed of industry developments and changes in regulatory requirements to ensure the Payments division is compliant and prepared for any potential risks.
