Responsibilities • Support the development and execution of short- and long-term strategic plans for Optum CA's provider network and business units • Manage development of annual Leadership Playbook, Scorecards, and Regional Goals for the Senior Leadership Team • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend assessments to inform business decisions • Partner with leadership to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements • Work with shared services teams to manage Service Level Assessments report-outs, DOAs and overall management processes to oversee performance • Analyze key performance metrics to measure the success of strategic initiatives and recommend improvements • Develop financial models, reports, and dashboards to track business performance • Present data-driven insights to senior leadership to guide decision-making • Work closely with operational, clinical, and finance teams to align strategic initiatives with business objectives • Facilitate strategic planning meetings and cross-functional workgroups • Manage key projects from inception to implementation, ensuring alignment with corporate goals • Identify and implement process enhancements that improve efficiency and effectiveness • Support change management efforts related to new strategic initiatives • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies Requirements • 5+ years of experience in strategy, business planning, management consulting, or a related role within healthcare • Experience in value-based care, provider network strategy, or healthcare operations • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in financial modeling and business analytics • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment • Must be based in CA • Ability to travel 20% Nice-to-haves • Prior experience working in a Big 5 consulting firm (e.g., Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, Accenture), particularly in healthcare strategy or operations • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels • Knowledge of California healthcare regulations and payer-provider dynamics Benefits • Comprehensive benefits package • Incentive and recognition programs • Equity stock purchase • 401k contribution Apply tot his job
