Job Overview In this part-time role, you will work 34 hours per week, with flexible hours between 8am - 4:30pm CST, Monday through Friday. The position can be fully remote, offering you the convenience and flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests, navigating imaging software, and collaborating with team members to meet client turnaround times. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times, utilizing strong data entry and typing skills. Navigate efficiently and effectively through imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, demonstrating proficiency in software applications. Differentiate between different claim types and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines, ensuring compliance with established protocols and procedures. Accurately identify specific document types that require special handling, exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation. Support additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Additional Responsibilities Perform quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines, ensuring high levels of accuracy and quality. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating a willingness to help and support colleagues. Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies, exercising sound judgment and problem-solving skills. Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. Qualifications and Requirements To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Education: High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation in basic education and skills. Experience: 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role, demonstrating proficiency in data entry and typing skills. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong data entry/typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy, demonstrating a strong foundation in data entry and typing principles. Assessment Requirements If selected for further consideration, candidates will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment, demonstrating a minimum of 8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate. This assessment will evaluate your data entry skills, accuracy, and speed, ensuring that you possess the necessary skills and abilities to perform the job requirements.
