Administrator - Master Data Procurement

Canadian Blood Services is a dynamic organization committed to saving and improving lives. They are seeking a Temporary Full-Time Administrator, Master Data to support their Procurement team by ensuring SAP master data remains current and providing support for data integrity and analysis. Responsibilities Drawing from your SAP knowledge, you will ensure master data in SAP is created and maintained in accordance with business requirements and all policies and procedures Work independently with clients to identify requirements, ensure client satisfaction with service delivery and provide customer support to troubleshoot issues You will ensure that all relevant internal departments are engaged in the resolution of cross-departmental SAP data issues Create, delete and/or modify master data as required Utilizing your excellent attention to detail, you will ensure the integrity of SAP master data through ongoing analysis and participate in data integrity clean-up projects as required Assist in the development of master data reports to support data analysis and identify deviations from accepted standards You will identify, analyze, interpret, and resolve SAP data as it pertains to user requests and/or system errors Leveraging your analytical skills, you will analyze user requests and complete/direct resolution and assist business owners in understanding relevant master data and the integration points within the system You will contribute to the development and documentation of standards, procedures, and practices for SAP master data management, and create associated training material Channeling your superior interpersonal and communication skills, you will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal controls to ensure best business practices and assist in the review process You will assist in the implementation of procedures to support policies associated with SAP data You will perform user acceptance testing on IT applications or systems to ensure business requirements are met Skills Post-secondary level education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution is required, preferably college courses in Supply Management Minimum 1 year of job-related experience in the use of SAP Technical skills including SAP - Materials Management, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Sales and Distribution, Finance and Controlling Modules, and MS Office suites Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills. High attention to detail is essential Strong communication skills An equivalent combination of education, training and at least four years related experience may be considered Experience with GMP is an asset Benefits Payment in lieu of vacation and benefits.
