YouTube Script Writer for Educational Drone Content
Drone Launch Learning is looking for a skilled YouTube video script writer to help us create engaging, long-form educational content focused on drones and career-connected learning for high school students and educators. We are looking for a script writer who can help us with making 12–20 minute YouTube videos on drone related topics that we will provide. Your role will be to turn these topics into clear, accurate, and engaging scripts that feel human, thoughtful, and well-researched, not generic or AI-generated. What we’re looking for: • Someone who can write natural, human-sounding scripts (not copy-pasted AI content) • Strong research skills and attention to accuracy • Ability to explain technical concepts in a way that’s clear and accessible for high school students • Experience writing long-form YouTube scripts • Comfortable backing up claims with credible sources • When facts, stats, or regulations are referenced, we expect links to sources or citations Responsibilities: • Write YouTube scripts based on outlines or topics we provide • Conduct independent research to ensure accuracy • Include source links when referencing data, regulations, studies, or statistics • Structure scripts with a strong hook, logical flow, and clear explanations • Occasionally adapt tone depending on whether the audience is students, educators, or administrators Nice to have (but not required): • Background in STEM, education, aviation, drones, or engineering • Familiarity with FAA Part 107 or drone regulations • Experience writing educational or explainer-style YouTube content To apply, please include: • 1–3 examples of long-form YouTube scripts you’ve written • A short explanation of how you approach research and fact-checking • Any relevant experience with drones, education, or technical topics Apply tot his job
