Job Title: Workday Data Migration Specialist (Lawson to Workday) Primary Location: Remote USA Position Type: 6+ Month Contract Overview TalentFish is casting a line for a Workday Data Migration Specialist. This is a remote contract opportunity. The Workday Data Migration Specialist will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support and assisting with catch-up transactions (delta and retroactive data loads) involving HCM and Payroll data, specifically focusing on extracting data from Lawson/Infor to Workday during implementation. What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience) • Strong SQL skills with extensive experience in hands-on data extraction and script maintenance. • Direct experience with Lawson / Infor HCM and Payroll data structures. • Solid understanding of HR and Payroll concepts, including employee records, compensation, and benefits. • Familiarity with Workday EIBs and a clear understanding of data formatting requirements for successful loads. • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and meet strict project deadlines. What You'll Do (Skills Used in this Position) • Write and maintain SQL scripts to accurately identify and extract HCM and Payroll data changes between specific dates. • Analyze Lawson / Infor data related to employees, jobs, compensation, benefits, and payroll to ensure integrity. • Produce clean, EIB-ready CSV files that map correctly to Workday data expectations. • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to confirm cutoff dates, logic, and extraction parameters. • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues identified during the testing phases to ensure accurate migration. Compensation and Employment The expected hourly rate for this position is $70 - $100/hr (Market Rate) depending on experience and qualifications.
