Wealth & Investment Business Analyst
About the position The Business Analyst - Sr leads assigned projects and/or provides advanced specialized consultative support to other team members for assigned business process and/or system(s) that are typically more complex and of a larger impact to the company. Responsibilities • Maintains in-depth knowledge of business processes and applications and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends related to the assigned application(s). • Analyzes existing processes and systems and identifies technical or procedural improvements. • Recommends business practices to optimize use of business process/system(s). • Develops operational procedures for products, services and systems. • Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements. • Develops and generates special and ad hoc reports. • Provides technical support to business unit, customers, management and other users. • Serves as liaison between software vendors and business process system users and other corporate areas. • Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements • Bachelors degree • At least 5 years of related experience • High School diploma with 9 years of experience/education in a related field may be considered. Nice-to-haves • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment with excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and organizational skills. • Keen attention to detail. • Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and solutions. • Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and ability to re-prioritize as appropriate. • Ability to think strategically. • Understanding of Project Management methodologies.
